I think an important thing to bring up is the way that the young people conceptualise and move forward, because what I found as someone who is existing in that spectrum, is that these days most young people aren’t even stressed about no privacy and have already given into the idea of not owning their intellectual integrity and sovereignty, so I think the challenge is how to reinstate a pride and sovereignty over your own mental space and basically refoster the importance of privacy in young people. That’s something I have seen in speaking to older people, is that I have learnt a lot about how to regain sovereignty of the mind and privacy with no need for explanation because you should be able to say, I don’t want you to know something about me, and if I don’t want you to know it, it’s as simple as that. That’s something I’ve learnt from the older generation. My generation almost seems to, well everything is already out there, so what does it matter, so until it’s weaponised, it doesn’t matter.
