Ian Loots shares his vision on reforesting the desert as a true means of curtailing the Earth’s Carbon-Emissions. He envisions the food creation and greening of poor desert areas, bringing these areas to flourish. And the opportunities that can be generated, such as the bio-fuel that can be harvested from an increased supply of harvestable forests, if the ancient act of deforestation of i.e. the Sahara Desert can be reversed. All of these changes can go a long way to curtailing the effects of human carbon emissions, and increase alternative energy sources.
