ENN WITH JAY 24 MAY 2016

This week we have Jason covering four important stories. First of all there was a study done about burning fossil fuels. Should we burn all the fossil fuels on the planet we will have a 9% increase in the earth’s temperature. The world would heat up from 15 degrees to 20 degrees which is a massive increase. If you think about how we build up economies with oil, cars etc. then you can see that the reality is we need to move away from this idea completely. The number of vehicles that are on the road is simply not viable for cooling the planet.

Jason believes we have chosen the wrong path with regards to carrying on with the scale of carbon emissions. We simply cannot persist with the likes of BP or Engen and using fuels to build up economies. We need to invest in new technologies and really test out so that we can learn by process of elimination what we shouldn’t use at least.

One of the last topics for today is the appearance of aquatic cocaine. This is of course not literally cocaine but it is based on the totoaba fish which is highly endangered fish and only found in the gulf of Mexico. At the moment the fish itself is being harvested for its bladder and the people that hunt it take out the bladder and more often the bladder is sent to China where they believe the organ of that specific fish can be good for skin regeneration. Making another endangered species die out just for shallow reasons like skin rejuvenation simply is a ridiculous and evil thing to do.

The planet is falling down all around us and meanwhile there is still demand for endangered species for stupid reasons. In addition we have organisations like Greenpeace who actually do very little for the environment. The executive of Greenpeace makes 2million pounds a year which is absurd. In the bottom of this article is a link to a YouTube video where one of the founders of green peace explains why he left Greenpeace. Patrick Moore says in the first minute at how he left the organisation because fear mongering and political agendas took over. Can we really trust an organisation that is paying its executives so much money and is actually doing very little for the causes it’s purporting to serve?

The people need to wake up and realise that there are thousands of organisations around the word that are actually doing very little for humanity while claiming that they are doing the opposite. The very offices that get built up with the massive amounts of money are themselves an equal drag on the environment because they are not even using renewable building techniques.

Wake up people.
